🛡️ The Inmate Meet Trust Center
Verify before
you trust.
Real people. Verified information. Safer connections. Here's exactly what every badge means — and what it doesn't.
🚨 INMATE MEET SAFETY ALERT
NEVER SEND MONEY TO SOMEONE YOU MEET ON INMATE MEET.
Not for commissary, emergencies, legal fees, medical bills, bail, transportation, gift cards, crypto or "investments". If someone asks, report them.
Verification levels
Based only on facts we can prove — never a judgment of character.

How we verify
Request profile verification- 01
Government records
Name, inmate number and facility are matched against available state or federal correctional records. Full date of birth and ID numbers are never shown publicly.
- 02
Identity & age
These checks are separate from correctional-record review. Automated ID verification is not connected yet; a family member’s identity does not establish the incarcerated person’s identity.
- 03
Family authorization
Requesters attest they are authorized to act for the profile. This declaration alone does not prove a relationship or authorization.
- 04
Human photo review
Photo verification is a separate admin check, not an automatic result of a record match.
- 05
Dated re-checks
Administrators can record a new review when information changes. Checks are not monitored automatically, and release dates are subject to change.
❗ What verification does NOT mean
Verification does not mean Inmate Meet recommends, endorses, trusts or guarantees any member. It confirms certain facts at a point in time. Always use your own judgment.
